1. Information We Do NOT Collect

CalcSpace is designed to be privacy-first. We do not collect the values you enter into any calculator.

• No registration or login required — ever
• No names, emails, phone numbers, or addresses
• No financial data, health data, or personal input values
• We never see or store the numbers you calculate with
• Advertising and analytics are disclosed separately in Section 5

2. How Calculations Work

Every single calculator on CalcSpace runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. When you enter values and click "Calculate":

• The computation happens on your device, not on our servers
• Your input data never leaves your browser
• Results are displayed immediately from local computation
• No network request is made to store or process your data

3. Local Storage

CalcSpace uses your browser's localStorage to remember your preferences (such as dark/light theme and language selection). This data:

• Stays entirely on your device
• Is never sent to any server
• Can be cleared at any time through your browser settings

Beyond the advertising and analytics cookies described in Section 5, we do not use session storage or cross-site tracking for our own purposes.

4. Currency Exchange Rate API

Our Currency Converter calculator uses an exchange rate API to fetch current currency rates. When you use this feature:

• A request is made to a third-party rate provider to fetch exchange rates
• No personal data, financial data, or input values are included in this request
• Only the list of currency pairs is requested — nothing about you or your transaction
• Rates are cached locally for 24 hours to minimize API calls

5. Advertising & Analytics

To keep CalcSpace free to use, we display advertising and measure site usage with Google services:

• Google AdSense — displays ads. AdSense and its partners may use cookies and device identifiers to serve personalized ads based on your activity on this and other websites.
• Google Analytics — collects anonymous, aggregated statistics about site usage (pages visited, approximate region, device type).
• Both are provided by Google LLC. You can opt out of personalized advertising at ads.google.com or via YourAdChoices (aboutads.info).
• For visitors in the EU/EEA/UK, ads and analytics load only after you grant consent through our consent banner (see Section 6).

6. Cookies & EU Consent

We and Google use cookies (such as NID, IDE, and _ga) for advertising and analytics. How they work:

• Ad cookies help measure ad performance and show relevant ads.
• Analytics cookies help us understand which calculators are useful.
• For EU/EEA/UK visitors, a consent banner asks for permission before any ad or analytics cookie is set. You can change or withdraw consent anytime via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer.
• Declining consent does not affect your ability to use any calculator.

7. Children's Privacy

CalcSpace is a general-audience tool. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. AdSense is configured to avoid personalized ads to users under 13, and we do not target children with advertising.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
